Is there any possibility to do show ToT in Glasgow too? It's easier to go there for people outside Scotland (and outside UK!) and i think you would get more people maybe.
It's just an idea _________________

Well hopefully we can have a screening in Glasgow as well, though if you can get to Glasgow its easy enough to hop on a bus to Dundee.

I'll try to come in Dundee anyway, just asking if you planned other Scotland cities for the screening _________________

Well I would like to think we could get a screening in everyone's home region - we have people from the Highlands, Glasgow, London, Oxford, Northern Ireland... what would be really nice is if someone picked it up for us, like one the big chain cinemas

Maybe you should try contacting the UGC Cinema in Glasgow and see if they'll be willing to show the film in the cinema for free? They do let you hire out the cinemas in some cases so maybe you could see about that? _________________ "I find that if I sit down...the solution presents itself" |

Anyway we have time to find new locations for the premier haven't we ken?
I believe after the first trailers more and more people will grow their interests about your fan film. ;) _________________

I was talking with someone about this at the UGC in Dundee, but now its been taken over and become cineworld I might have to start again.
I think I would still have to pay to hire it out though, especially if I am not charging ticket prices or anything, but you never know what could happen. I guess the good thing is if I was able to strike up a deal with one of these cinemas it might pan out for lots of them across the country.

Hey I know this is a pretty ancient thread but other places in Glasgow could be The Cinema in G12 (which is a Glasgow Uni building part of the Film and TV and Theatre Department) We might be able to get it by plugging the fact one of their ex students (me) is in the film..... ???
But yes, GFT and UGC would be great (nice comfy seats too!) |
